On the Mount of Beatitudes

Thursday morning we went to the Mount of Beatitudes, overlooking the Sea of Galilee.

We went up to a quiet spot with places to sit and we had a time of devotion. Allen read scripture. Heather led us in singing. We had communion and prayer. Then Allen, Kathy, George and Betty prayed for each of us as couples and families. This experience was one of the most spiritually moving of the whole trip. I will never forget the peace and tranquility I felt here.
